Got a superconductor material which allow zero percent resistance


When we call a material superconductor which means they conduct electricity with zero resistance. superconductor will help build very high efficient device leading to huge energy saving.

A group of researchers at university of Rochester, Intel corporation and university of Navada in U.S. confirms that they have finally created a material which is superconductor mean it conduct electricity 100% at room temperature (at 15 degree Celsius). 

                                                     The only issue is that it need ultra high pressure of about 2.6 million atmosphere to achieve this (The pressure at the centre of the Earth is 360 GPa, so it is 75% of the pressure at centre of the Earth,) putting off any thought of application to the future. 

By publish of this a sparked discussion is started in the word of Physics.

Researchers have tested this material over superconductivity.

1. A known thing is that sufficient high magnetic field can destroy superconductivity in a material. They have applied high Magnetic field upto 9 tesla showed the suppression of the transition temperature to lower and lower values as the magnetic field increased.

       But if we continue increase magnetic field upto 62 Tesla it will destroy its superconductivity.

2. They measured resistance as a function of temperature and found that it did fall to a vanishingly small value below the critical temperature.

They have achieved this by putting substance in jaw of Diamond anvil but we cannot perform this on daily life as we need ultra-high pressure that is 3/4th of total pressure of core of earth and its very difficult to hold material at this pressure because of hydrogen diffusion.
